Surf Mei Mei PK doing a thorough review of the Baggu wetsuit bag.

Type: Wetsuit / Surf Bag

Brand: Baggu is a chic reusable bag company based in Brooklyn, New York. As a former J. Crew designer, Emily Sugihara wanted to create affordable and good looking reusable bags for everyone. After she picked up surfing, she started to make surf-related items such as this wetsuit bag.

Look: Surf Mei Mei has tested it out during our many day surf trips and the bag has proved to be extremely functional with its large capacity and outer front zip pocket. We particularly love how the welded seams means we don’t have to worry about our stuff getting wet before surf and storing our wet stuff post surf. It truly is a stylish  wet / dry bag.

Price: $120

Pros:

  • Welded seams & water resistant zipper
  • Large capacity
  • Outer front zip pocket
  • Has two functional strap lengths for carrying in hand or over shoulder
  • Keep sand off wetsuit by standing in bag to change

Cons:

  • Only comes in black =(
  • No inner pockets
  •  A tad heavy when loaded but that’s the wetsuits fault =)

Verdict:

A great weatherproof bag for cold-water surfing or use as a large all-purpose bag for other things. Surf Mei Mei tested it during our day surf trips. Love it!
